In 2017-2019, New Zealand imported 59301 tons of aluminum sheet and strip, and it is estimated that the import volume will increase to 30445 tons in 2020. It is estimated that New Zealand will import 89746 tons of aluminum sheet and strip in 2017-2020.

In 2017, New Zealand imported 13559 tons of aluminum sheet and strip. In 2018, the import volume increased by 51.61% to 20557 tons.

In 2019, the import volume will further increase by 22.51% to 25185 tons. It is estimated that the import volume of New Zealand aluminum sheet and strip will increase again by 20.89% to 30445 tons in 2020.

New Zealand mainly imports aluminum plates and strips from Australia, Austria, Belgium, China, Greece, India, Indonesia, Italy, the Netherlands, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, the United Kingdom, the United States and other countries.
